How we test lash serums
We buy every serum at retail, use it for a full 12-week lash cycle, and score it on the same four criteria. Brands can't pay for reviews, placements or higher scores. LashReviewHub is independent of the brands it reviews; read our ownership disclosure.
Our testing process
Buy at retail
We purchase from US retailers like any shopper. No PR samples in scored tests.
Review ingredients
Our reviewing esthetician checks the full ingredient list for actives, irritants and allergens.
Test for 12 weeks
A panel of testers with varied lash types applies each serum nightly and keeps a symptom log.
Measure & score
Standardized photos every two weeks. We measure length and density, then apply our scoring weights.
How scores are calculated
Each serum gets a score out of 10 in four categories, combined using fixed weights:
- Results (40%): measured change in length and density at week 12, plus how quickly it appeared.
- Ingredient safety (25%): active type, known irritants, and side effects reported by testers.
- Ease of use (20%): applicator precision, dry time, and compatibility with makeup and contacts.
- Value (15%): real cost per month, based on how long one tube lasted.
We retest top picks when a brand changes its formula, and we update every review at least once a year.
Who is behind LashReviewHub
LashReviewHub is an independent review website. Qualash does not own or publish this site. QUALASH® Advanced is one of the products reviewed here; its position in our ranking does not make its manufacturer the publisher of LashReviewHub.
Every product featured on this website is scored on the same four criteria described above, and we show each serum's price, formula and downsides so you can compare them yourself. Brands can't pay to be included, ranked higher or reviewed.
Editorial policy
Every article is written by our editorial team and reviewed by a licensed professional before publishing. We cite primary sources such as FDA guidance, prescribing information and peer-reviewed studies. Brands never see reviews before they go live.
If we get something wrong, we correct it and note the change at the bottom of the page. Send corrections to [email protected].
Affiliate disclosure
Some links on LashReviewHub are affiliate links. If you buy through them we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. This follows the US Federal Trade Commission's Endorsement Guides. Commissions pay for testing and never affect which products we recommend or how we score them.
