Best Overall
QUALASH® Advanced
#1Myristoyl Pentapeptide-17, Myristoyl Hexapeptide-16 and arginine. Applied once a day; first visible changes reported after about 25 days.
For the most visible length, choose a serum with a prostaglandin analog (such as isopropyl cloprostenate) and use it nightly for at least 12 weeks. If you have sensitive eyes, wear contacts, are pregnant, or have light-colored irises, choose a peptide-based, prostaglandin-free serum instead: results are subtler but the side-effect risk is much lower. For dramatic growth under medical supervision, ask a doctor about prescription bimatoprost, the only FDA-approved option.

Best Overall
Myristoyl Pentapeptide-17, Myristoyl Hexapeptide-16 and arginine. Applied once a day; first visible changes reported after about 25 days.
Best Premium Alternative
One of the best-known lash conditioners in the US, with a huge review base. The very high price lowers its value for money.
Best for Sensitive Eyes
Prostaglandin-free, vegan formula the manufacturer describes as suitable for sensitive eyes. About 4.3/5 from nearly 500 verified reviews.
Best Budget Pick
Four peptide complexes plus caffeine and panthenol for about $15–18. It needs to be applied twice a day.
Ranked on formula, published study data, verified customer reviews and value for money. Prices are approximate US retail at the time of our last update.

#1
Qualash takes first place for its strong combination of a formula designed for visibly longer, fuller lashes, peptides, and a large number of positive user reviews.
The Advanced formula uses Myristoyl Pentapeptide-17, Myristoyl Hexapeptide-16, arginine and plant extracts, among others. The manufacturer states that first visible changes may appear after about 25 days, and effectiveness was assessed in laboratory and consumer tests.
The brand’s review profile is another strong point. Qualash reports an average rating of about 4.8/5 from more than 3,900 reviews, while Advanced itself is rated about 4.7/5 from more than 1,200 reviews.
Best for: anyone who mainly wants noticeably longer, fuller lashes.
#2
RevitaLash is one of the best-known products in this category in the US. The formula includes Biotinoyl Tripeptide-1, biotin, green tea extract, ginseng and amino acids. It also contains ethylcloprostenolamide, a prostaglandin analog.
A very strong brand and long market presence work in its favor, but at around $152 for 3.5 ml it is clearly one of the more expensive options.
#3
GrandeLASH-MD is one of the products you can hardly leave out of an American ranking. The brand has built very high recognition in the eyelash serum segment and is widely available in US beauty retail.
Its biggest advantage is the combination of strong marketing, wide distribution and a large user base.
#4
Olaplex has brought its experience with hair-strengthening products to the lash category. LASHBOND costs about $68.
In a 12-week consumer study of 33 people, the manufacturer reports that 97% of participants saw an improvement in the look of lash length and density when using it twice a day.
#5
UKLASH stands out for its combination of price and claimed results.
The formula includes Myristoyl Pentapeptide-17, vitamin B5 and green tea extract.
The manufacturer says first results may be visible after about 25 days, and the US website shows more than 53,000 reviews. A one-time purchase costs about $55.
#6
Vegamour is positioned differently from the most intensive products. GRO Lash Serum relies mainly on peptides and plant-based actives.
The manufacturer describes the formula as suitable for sensitive eyes too. The product currently holds about 4.3/5 from nearly 500 verified reviews, and the standard price is about $68.
#7
The Ordinary clearly wins on price.
The serum contains four peptide complexes, including Myristoyl Pentapeptide-17, Biotinoyl Tripeptide-1, Oligopeptide-2 and Acetyl Tetrapeptide-3. It also contains caffeine, panthenol, arginine and plant extracts.
In the US it currently costs about $15–18 for 5 ml, which is very competitive against products priced at $50–150.
Downside: It needs to be applied twice a day.
#8
RapidLash is one of the older and better-known products in the lash serum category.
Its position is justified mainly by its long market presence and high brand awareness among shoppers looking for a classic lash conditioner.
Downside: Compared with newer peptide formulas, competition is now much stronger than it was a few years ago.
#9
Lancôme has a huge advantage in brand trust and distribution.
The product has collected a very large number of reviews on Lancôme’s official site, with more than 1,400 reviews currently shown in the brand’s system.
It is, however, more of a conditioning/revitalizing product than a typical intensive growth serum.
#10
Babe Original belongs to a group of brands typical of the US market that specialize almost exclusively in lash and brow enhancement.
It earns its place in the top 10 mainly through recognition, availability and strong marketing in the US.
Almost every lash serum sold in the US falls into one of three groups. The ingredient list tells you which one you're buying, which matters more than the brand name or the price.
Eyelashes grow in cycles. The growth phase (anagen) lasts roughly 30 to 45 days, then the lash rests and sheds. Effective serums extend that growth phase, which is why no formula can show real results in a few days.

Most visible results. Lengthen and darken lashes by extending the growth phase. Possible side effects: itching, redness, darkened eyelid skin and, rarely, iris color change or under-eye hollowing.
myristoyl pentapeptide-17 · biotin · panthenol · keratin
Gentle and subtle. Strengthen lashes and reduce breakage, so they look fuller over time. A good choice for sensitive eyes, contact lens wearers and anyone avoiding prostaglandins.
bimatoprost 0.03% · Rx only
The only FDA-approved lash growth treatment. Prescribed for inadequate lashes (hypotrichosis) and used under a doctor's supervision. Same side-effect profile as other prostaglandins.
Start with clean, dry skin. Remove makeup and contact lenses. Apply at night so the serum isn't disturbed.
One thin stroke on the upper lash line. Like liquid liner, from inner to outer corner. Don't apply to the lower lid; the serum transfers when you blink.
Wipe off any excess. More product doesn't mean faster growth, only more irritation.
Be consistent for 12 weeks. Take a photo on day one. Most people see a change at weeks 4–6 and full results by weeks 12–16.
Length and density tracked in standardized photos every two weeks.
Full INCI review and reported irritation among testers.
Applicator precision, dry time and compatibility with makeup.
Real cost per month based on how long one tube lasts.
Short, direct answers to what US shoppers ask us most.
Serums with prostaglandin analogs show the most visible lengthening, usually after 4–8 weeks. Peptide and conditioning serums mainly reduce breakage, so lashes look fuller as fewer fall out early.
Most people notice a change at 4–6 weeks and full results at 12–16 weeks, which matches the natural lash growth cycle.
Most are well tolerated, but prostaglandin-based serums can cause irritation, redness, darkening of eyelid skin and, rarely, iris color change. Patch test and talk to an eye doctor if you have eye conditions.
Lashes gradually return to their previous length over one full growth cycle, typically 2–4 months.
Prostaglandin analogs are generally not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Ask your doctor; a peptide-only conditioner is the usual alternative.
Notes from people who used our guides before buying.
"The ingredient breakdown saved me. I have light green eyes and had no idea some serums could affect iris color."
"Finally a site that tells you to wait 12 weeks instead of promising results in 7 days. It was right."
"I wear contacts and have sensitive eyes. The prostaglandin-free pick worked without any redness."
